Commercial heating, cooling and rooftop work
Service, planned maintenance, change-outs and fit-out work for Whatcom County buildings.
Answering the call properly
The first visit to a new building is partly a repair and partly a survey: what is installed, how old it is, how it has been looked after and what is closest to failing. That list is what turns the next call from a guess into a job.
Faults get diagnosed with instruments and priced in writing. Where a unit is beyond sensible repair we say so, and the change-out conversation starts from evidence rather than from a sales target.
Who calls us
- Retail and trade countersDoors open to the weather and a sales floor that still has to be comfortable.
- Offices and studiosZones that argue and schedules set for a previous tenant.
- Food and hospitalityHeavy extraction, make-up air, and pressure problems that pull cold air through every door.
- ClinicsSteady conditions, quiet equipment and ventilation matched to the room's use.
- Light industrialUnit heaters, process ventilation and an office at the front with a different load entirely.
- Property managersSeveral buildings, one record, and a call-out process that does not need re-explaining.
Two visits, written up per unit
Cooling before the summer, heating before the winter. Filters, coils, belts, drains, economisers, refrigerant checks, controls and safety checks — recorded against each unit with what changed since last time.
It does not prevent every failure. It does mean equipment is replaced on a plan and budgeted in advance rather than on the worst morning of the year.
Change-outs and fit-outs
- Rooftop change-outsCurb adapters, crane planning, isolations and commissioning. The planner covers what drives the programme.
- Split and heat pump replacementWhere units serve suites individually rather than the whole building.
- Ducts and diffusersReworked when a space changes use, with airflow measured before and after.
- Ventilation upgradesExtract and make-up air brought up to what the building now does.
